Some of my earlier modeling work . When I started using Vray, I went back and re- rendered this model. I didn't know much about Vray at the time and used pretty low settings on it, so that's why these renders look grainy.
This model was a great opportunity to work on my texturing skills. Because the whole thing is made out of separate wooden boards, it gave me a chance to practice mapping and texturing wood. As I'm sure you already know, texturing wood can be tricky at times, because you really have to pay attention to the way the grain runs over the surface. As well as what sides or ends of the boards should have an end grain texture applied.
