In the final project of the "Prop Modeling 101" series, we'll be building a high poly garbage can. We'll start by building the exterior portion of the can, working from the base to the top and mapping each piece as we go.

We'll start part two by modeling and mapping the interior can and I'll show you a quick trick to give the appearance that it's actually full of trash. Finally, we'll complete the model by building in the detailed wire mesh portion.

In the final part of the project and series, we'll give our can the beat down (texture wise) After organize our UV's in Max, we'll head over to photoshop to make our damaged texture maps. We'll create diffuse, bump and spec maps for our model and then we'll complete the project by setting up our shaders and applying our textures to the model back in 3dsmax.
